About the event

The Squat is not only a fundamental human movement pattern but it is also an excellent legs strength and flexibility developer as well as a means of teaching any athlete abdominal pressurization.

The Military Press is a classic test of strength and a platform for learning the hard style strength principles. Consider an analogy, like the Turtle when we mere mortals find ourselves fearful or anxious we get smaller. We do not hide in shells but we do droop down, our spines go into flexion and our posture begins to sag or sink down from weakness, exhaustion and lack of support. But, what happens when we are proud, confident or even empowered? Our posture rises! We stand tall and upright. Can you think of any stronger posture than standing in full extension with a heavy weight overhead? Neither can we!

Join us for a 3-hour workshop in which we will breakdown, learn and perform these fundamental movements and kettlebell lifts safely and efficiently.
