About the event

The Windmill promotes strength, flexibility, and resilience of the shoulders, hips, and back. It is not an exercise in spine torsion; it is a simultaneous hip hinging and spine rotation. Much like the Turkish Get Up it can also be thought of as ‘loaded yoga’ and is an integral movement prerequisite required in order to perform a proficient KB Bent Press.

It is said that the Bent Press picks up where the Turkish Get Up leaves off. In bent pressing every muscle of the body is used and it requires and develops strength in every part of the body. It teaches balance, timing, coordination, endurance, not to mention exceptional thoracic and shoulder mobility and resilience. Bent pressing leads to proficiency in all other lifts!

Join us for a 3-hour workshop in which we will breakdown, learn and perform these advanced movements and kettlebell lifts safely and efficiently.

*students participating are required to have attended our Turkish Get Up workshop.
