About the event
The Turkish Get-Up is an advanced sequence of movements while also being the perfect example of a lift training primitive human movement patterns-from rolling over, to kneeling, to standing and reaching. The Get-Up incorporates all planes of motion and utilizes every one of the body’s major muscle groups.
Postural control has been described as, “Alignment with integrity under load”. As the Get-Up incorporates both mobility and motor control of efficient movement it is one of the best examples of this and one of the best ways to build it.
Join us for a 3-hour workshop in which we will breakdown, learn and perform this advanced sequence of movements and fundamental kettlebell lifts safely and efficiently.
